Reopened Issue: Use absolute address in ETL file location. [3811]

Hi Chao,

One suggestion for Vulcan 2:

The below xml gives me 2 packages, when I open ETLTest1 in Visual Studio and execute, then it will give a warning box instead of opening ETLTest2 package. The reason is the file connection is using a reference address. I’m thinking if you can fix it in Vulcan to use absolution address like this:

C:\detego\bin\ETL\ETLTest1\..\..\ETL\ETLTest2\ETLTest2.dtsx

Reopened Issue: Sql encoding [3965]

Hi Chao,

The encoding issue is fixed in VulcanRelease version. Could you merge the changes from ‘VulcanRelease’ to ‘Vulcan’?
Another question, we use ‘UTF-32’ encoding in the new codes. It could fix the issue(See the attached e-mail).
But the saved .sql file is not well compatible with SSMS(The SQL queries can’t be executed in SSMS). It makes more difficult to debug the SQL queries.
Do you think if there’s a better encoding format which could both fix the issue and be compatible with SSMS?

Updated Transformations/OLEDBSource.cs to use a GUID when creating fake expression variables, as the task name is less restrictive than the variable name.
